Was Rennie on acid or something the whole boat trip?

I mean the entire trip shes got a dopey sleepy look on her face and every few seconds she starts tripping out and seeing young Jason everywhere.

Her and the lead guy were too annoying. They both were the “sensitive” type. Which in films means you could be standing in a burning house asking the sensitive type where the fire extinguisher is and they would just look off into the distance and bite their lip.

She must have been, how else do we explain the ending. Jason isn't even deformed, and by a little sewer water come on.
