Batman open on this day June 23rd, 1989.
It's the movie that made me a Batman fan for life and I'll never forget how big the hype was that summer. Anyone else watching it today besides me?

Wow, 35 years already. I was 10 years old and there opening weekend. The hype was real I will never forget it either. Made me a Batman, Keaton, Tim Burton, and movie fan for life.

It was a great year for film, too; so many great movies that summer.

UHF, Ghostbusters 2, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Batman, Lethal Weapon 2, and The Abyss all came out in the summer of 1989. What an insane lineup of classic movies.

Don't forget 'Star Trek V: The Final Frontier' (1989) 😆😆😆
I loved that movie but I'm a special case lol.
