Finally upgraded to the Blu-ray

I originally owned B89 on VHS, then on DVD (twice!). Decided to grab the Blu-ray yesterday - mainly for the special features. Looking forward to those (and seeing how the movie looks). If I can find Batman Returns reasonably priced I'll upgrade that as well.

you should upgrade to 4K

Yeah, I've wondered about that.

The picture quality on the Blu-ray looks great IMO, and the special features are pretty interesting. I especially like the segment where they cover the BTS process of how it started as an idea in film school and evolved into the final film.

Watched it tonight. Looked very sharp. Noticed something I never have before. When the guys try to unmask Batman in the alley, as they get distracted by Vicki on the roof and turn round and take aim at her, Batman's lying there with his mask completely removed. Next thing he's springing to his feet fully cowled. I guess they got it off but spun around before they got a good look (then he managed to reposition it very quickly before he jumped up! 😂). Never realised before that they actually got his mask off.

Fascinating stuff in the special features (cool hearing Conroy and Hamill voicing Batman and Joker for the animated storyboard sequence; shame Loren Lester didn't voice Robin).

I need to get the Anthology blu set (only have it on barebones dvd), I rewatched BR over Xmas. But I was wishing it was crystal clear blu

They had that set in HMV, but I already own Batman Forever and I've no desire whatsoever to own Batman & Robin 😂
