The world premiere of Tim Burton’s #Batman from @wbpictures was held 30 years ago #OTD, June 19, 1989, at the Mann’s Village and Mann’s Bruin theaters in Westwood, CA. It was the fifth-highest-grossing film in history at the time of its release and won an Academy award. #Batman30

I remember seeing the movie that very first weekend, south of Oklahoma City right off of I-35. 1989 was a great year for movies such as Batman, Indy3, Dead Poet's Society, Weekend at Bernies lol, UHF, Uncle Buck, Honey I Shrunk the Family, When Harry Met Sally. Let it Ride is my all time guilty pleasure movie!
