Towards the end, when Walsh is with the feds, and Mosely tells him he could go to jail for impersonating a fed, Walsh says to Mosely, "How come no one's after you?"
Mosely gets angry (as if he's guilty of something) and gives Walsh his phone call.
I never got why Mosely acted this way.
It was an insult. He was basically saying that Mosely’s incompetence made him just as much of a fake federal agent as Jack.
shareHe got angry because Jack insulted him by basically “insinuating” that Mosley sucked at his job. Mosley was a no-nonsense kind of guy and he was already fed up with Jack prior to that insult (ever since they first met Mosley wanted nothing more to do with Walsh), ergo he understandably didn’t take Jack’s diss too well.
shareJack was doing Mosely's job better than he could do it. After all, he found the duke in less than 24 hours when all of the FBI could not.
