Do you consider this to be an underrated movie?

I do, for it being an 80's film I feel this movie doesn't get a whole lot of recognition.

Yes I do. This movie can easily be regarded as run-of-the-mill (which generally speaking it is), but personally I have always seen it as one of the best comedies of the 80’s. In fact, to my mind it’s funnier and more charming than a couple of more popular comedies of the decade.

It’s no masterpiece or anything, but a highly enjoyable and funny movie with a very memorable cast (thumbs up to them) it is. And that poster = pure 80’s aesthetic & coolness.

This is a movie that has no business being considered a "good" movie, but at the same time, this is a movie that SCREAMS 80s pop. IMO, this movie is a notch below Ferries Buelluer, but any kid that grew up in the era has kinda of a soft heart for the Corey's.

I LOVE the Corey's in the 80's, and they just happened to act in movies in the era that I have a deep nostalgia for. However, they didn't act in movies that I would consider absolute garbage. For me, these movies go hand-in-hand with the John Hughes movies of the 80s. I think 80s high school comedy, I instantly think of John Hughes and "Corey" flicks.

When I think of teenage years of the era, it was pulled off perfectly...and it was pulled off cinematically pretty accurately...to the point where I'd think the material is still relevant.
