'I attended Julliard...'

When Beetlejuice gets out of character like that - talking like he's at a job interview, it's probably one of my favourite lines.

reply

That's a great line but my favorite is when the Maitlands leave the graveyard the first time and Beetlejuice at them about working with a professional. He then kicks over the fake tree and yells "Nice f*#%ING model!" That part just cracks me up

reply

Nice *beep* model is one of my all time favorite lines. It's like he's complimenting it, and insulting it at the exact same time, and always cracks me up

reply

It's my favorite part.

"Sometimes life hands you lemons that are worth 2 in the bush, I like kittens."

I used to have it memorized when I dressed as Beetlejuice for about 4 years in a row around Halloween until the seams started to split because I was growing in the wrong direction! My mom made the outfit for me AGES ago... it's long gone now. Just pictures from when I wore it at Halloween during a football game... miss those days. Back when the admin sort of trusted the students...

3rd generation American from a long line of Gottscheers... it was Drandul, dude!

reply

That lined cracked me up. I'm not American but I know it's a prestigious art school because I read interviews with artists and they all went there.

Fun Fact: Miles Davis hated it. He thought they were helding him back.

reply

I like that he said he attended both Juliard and Harvard then contradicts himself by saying he lived through the Black Plague which wasn't even in America.

reply

White people wasn't in America when the Black Plague was a thing.

reply

Exactly. He was obviously just making crap up.

reply

Or you know, he's super old, and European?

reply

Scandinavians were, and they're white people, last time I checked.

reply

KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT!
