Did you like the soundtrack? What was your fave track?

The very 80s soundtrack was a treat! My pick goes to 'Graham's Theme'. Very nice. Yours?

I like that too (actually all the music except for the ending credit roll). I'd say Strong As I Am would be favorite though.

Love the soundtrack, my favourite is also Strong as I am.
This is where we see Francis at his most vulnerable and almost human.

I love the soundtrack. And the haunting "Graham's Theme" is definitely my favorite.

The soundtrack was fantastic (as was the movie). "Evaporation" by Shriekback, Kitaro's "Seiun" and the tracks by The Reds are my favourite ones. Rubini's take was also nice. I could go without the pop tracks, though (Prime Movers, Red 7).

Do you have any tobacco?

Definitely "Graham's Theme", which is just a reworked version of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," if you listen closely (Mann did the same trick in Thief, which I have not seen, but having heard the track on YouTube, I can say that that version is solid, as well). "Seuin" is another favorite of mine, as it instantly brings me to a contemplative state. "Hush" captures the tortured intensity of the Dollarhyde character, and "Strong As I Am" nails the tragic aspects of his story. Finally, "InAGaddaDavida" is a badass song, used exceptionally well in the climatic gun fight (I want to believe there is an echo -a faint one, to be sure, but still an echo - in Silence of the Lambs, when Clarice explores Jame Gumb's basement, as "Hip Priest" plays).

The score is great. Most of the songs in it are fine.

The "Heartbeat" song at the end is excruciating. Even for the eighties it was a lurid hand grenade chucked at you just as you are starting to come to terms with what happened in the movie. It was the kind of track you'd expect to hear used in a montage, in a lesser film.

It has the same effect as someone opening all the doors to the cinema and letting in all the daylight and the noise from the street the moment the credits roll.

Fresh air? Are you kidding? The intensity was followed by the quiet moment between Will and Reba, then Will and Jack by the riverbank......... CLANG/CLATTER/BANG/CRASH!!!! Heartbeat!! In that full throated rock power ballad mode.

The one that sounds like Comfortably Numb.

Strong as I Am. I cannot believe that the members of that band went on to form the ludicrous "Dread Zeppelin". I also like Shriekback's Coelocanth.

Freeze. But I'm a Klaus Schulze/Berlin School fan so go figure.
