Watched it last night.....it hasn't aged well


I know it probably set the tone for action movies, but it seems a bit cheesy now.

40 years later, it’s a household name. Still relevant.

None, zero, squat, of the Captain X-men CGI garbage of the last 25 years are discussed after a year, let alone 40 years.

I love Aliens, and it's one of my all-time favorite movies. I will concede that there is some '80s camp that isn't present in Alien or the overly maligned Alien 3. In addition, there is a lot of contrivance with how everything goes wrong (i.e. collect magazines, dropship crash, no Sulaco crew, etc.).
