the neat end credits is one of my favorite parts, it's a real bugger they cut if off when it airs on tv. you think of this as a family movie, but when watching it it's remarkable how much adult material there is, and kind of weird how the third movie in the series is more clean and family friendly than the first two, usually they say sequels harms a great first movie, but i wonder if the christmas vacation has put these first two in even greater light. the accidents as he drives around london town with recognisable british actors and the politeness he comes across seems to have played an influence of some of family guy's encounters with canadians, especially the leg bit "it's just a leg, i've got another one.", once they go travel on to other countries the movie really slows down and just feels forced and dragging on, i would have preferred if they had just stayed in england, there is not a single funny moment in france except when he finds a bible and when they run into fellow country men right before their departure to germany which you almost miss and it kind of blends together, right in germany it becomes funnier again (though i thought them being chased was a bit scary when i was a kid), it makes me think they should have picked another country than france, the encounters are just offensive and the rude waiter is uncomfortable. the german visit just flies by as if it's a box they need to check, like i said, it feels forced, suddenly they're in italy, i can't diss the music as they try on fashion though, and they run into eric idle again, as i'm more familiar with italian entertainment than french and german, it would've been hip with some of that guest vibe as in england, my overall feeling is all these country visits blend together.

soul had been in wasteland,
out of nowhere you walked in reach out and grasp,
life and colour vibe back,
dust on drawing board blew away,
at the ink desk you paint beautiful world again.
