Really dated as an 80's movie

Even tho the other Bond films are set from the 1960's to the 2010's they never seemed dated. They are obviously products of their times but I never think how 60's/70's/whatever.

NSNA definitely is dated with the woman's fashions, some music, the video games, even jogging.

Any thoughts?

For me, I found the arcade, video games and computer screens, along with all their dinky sound effects, all fit in their era, which is early 80's. The holographic type computer screen with its artificial intelligence reminded me of the Battlestar Cylon voice. It's fascinating to see technology increase in each Bond film, and some stuff we don't even have yet--like watch lasers that have a tiny power source that they can still cut through metal in seconds.

Actually I was quite impressed with the fighter jet & missile special effects, you can tell Irvin was involved in the movie as it sort of resembled the Snow Speeder scene from Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back.

The music was horribly dated though, this I noticed immediately. The other Bond films have some pretty timeless music, even throughout.

That makes sense. thanks

Jogging is "dated"? Millions of people still jog. The word "jog" isn't used much anymore, people just say "running", but it's the same activity.

That is why I used the term jogging

Its not that surprising to see a movie released in 1983 actually looks like an 80s movie
