Mighty fast to get all those traps set up.

One thing I've always thought of when I've watched this: When Rambo gets all of Teasle's posse.....did anyone else think he sure did get all those traps set up pretty quick? Unless Teasle & Co. stopped for a break or something.......that's mighty fast to get all those sticks sharpened and traps set.

I really didn’t. I thought the movie was edited well. I’m sure it took Trautman awhile to show up to the site once he was aware of the situation, so I assumed the story wasn’t in real time. Next time I watch the movie I’ll pay closer attention to that, but it didn’t stand out to me in the past.

I’m not even sure how long it would take someone as experienced as Rambo to sharpen the wood and set the traps so I don’t have any point of reference anyway.

No. Part of a green berets training is being able to set up all those kind of traps in a very short amount of time

reply

Absolutely. Plus Rambo was 'the best'.

Nah, Rambo was already in the woods, doing his stuff...whilst the police were (likely) awaiting clearance/arrival for extra men/troops, setting up road-blocks, erecting communication huts, etc (all likely taking up a shit-ton of phone-calls/paperwork?)

whats more amazing is that out of all that woodland area they were searching , they came across the traps
