Rarely do I see spook houses at the amusement parks

Nowadays more people are interested in mirror halls or obstacle-course-style-funhouses over spook house. We had a haunted house like the one in the movie here until superstorm Sandy. The swell tore right though the building. They were finding the ride on carts half a mile away afterwards.

My guess is that adults have less of a taste for horror these days, and parents are too squeamish about exposing their kiddiepoos to anything that might scare them.

How about the 80s hurricane? Did you ever go to one in the 80s? Early 80s specifically..alot shit went on in the 80s that wouldn't fly even in the 90s. So it wouldn't surprise me to find out stripper shows at carnivals were a thing back then.
