Most ridiculous episode? Jack’s twin Austin?

I’m a huge fan of this show, but this episode always makes me cringe. It still has funny bits, but the suspension of disbelief on this one is rough. We’re supposed to believe that Mr. Furley is so drunk that he sees and speaks to two different John Ritters. Or two different Trippers if you will.
Anyways, do you have any opinions on a MORE ridiculous episode? I’d love to know.

I always find the one with the misunderstanding to be the most ridicolous episode.

which one ?

Which one was the episode with the misunderstanding?

Yea that episode where there was a misunderstanding because of what one of the roommates overheard was very unrealistic

reply

Yes that one exactly! You read my mind!

reply

Yes. That is pretty far fetched, however in the end, with comedy, it only has to be funny, not necessarily realistic.

reply

I completely agree. I guess I just like to over-analyze comedies just like Sci-Fi nerds like to over analyze Star Trek and Star Wars. I just prefer comedies in general.

Jack dresses up as a granny to win the cooking competition.

I'd say the episode where Jack goes to the ATM and all that extra money came out. Thats never happened to me

reply

Yeah that's pretty unrealistic!

reply

ATM with Chrissy or Janet?

reply

I believe the woman at the ATM when Jack got all that money was that woman from The Goonies, Mama Fratelli. Also in Throw Momma from the Train. She was beautiful in her younger years. She could have been a Bond girl

reply

The Grandma's cookie contest episode was definitely unrealistic, but Jack got caught at the end of it.
In the Jack's Twin episode, Jack got away with fooling Mr. Furley with no repercussions. But I hear ya.
