Max is a total hypocrite scumbag.

He was laying into Diana when he was leaving, saying she has no morals and basically saying she is scum.

Even though he left his wife for her. Not only that, he justifies it by saying his wife will take him back no problem. Scumbag.

reply

I disagree.

Diana was a monster, Max just had a affair with a monster.

Most men of his status have divorced their first wives and have younger ones. Max was still will the old bag when he was seduced by a younger woman.

It seems that Max didn't have to do much chasing to get her in bed, Diana just used him as a tool.

Max also didn't come across to me as a man that made most of his decisions with his little head. His speech he gave Diana was probably due to the fact that he had true feelings for her and finally realized that he was just a tool.

Today, Max would have been fired by UBS for having a affair with a subordinate 😀.

reply

"Just had an affair" Like that is normal and ok.
Even if most men did it then it proves my point of how hypocritical it is to put the hate on her. He is just as scummy.

reply

Because he fell for a younger more beautiful woman?

Hardly scummy.

Happens all the time.

reply

And Diana had to do what she did to get ahead in a man’s world back then, good for her.

reply

Bullshit. You think every successful woman is as soulless as Diana? You have a very low opinion of women.

reply

That's funny considering i was defending her against the hate she gets.

reply

What hate?

reply

"I disagree.

A few posts up.

Diana is a character from a 1976 movie. You’re justifying her behavior in that movie because of the “hate” she gets from a post just 3 years ago? You’re severely chronologically challenged.

reply

Ugh so the name calling begins. If you read what i wrote, you'd see that i was calling Max a hypocrite. Maybe you have bad reading comprehension?

reply

Ugh, so the backpedaling begins. My reply was, obviously, to your most recent post – not what you wrote about Max six posts ago. Maybe YOU have bad reading comprehension.

reply

I really have no idea what you are on about. You claimed that i thought every successful woman is as soulless as Diana.

You obviously have no problem with the man cheating, you never mentioned it once.

reply

There you go again, zigzagging from one topic to another to avoid addressing my replies. I’ve only commented on your justifying Diana’s behavior, and now you make a baseless accusation on another completely different topic. You make assertion after assertion you can’t defend. You’re incapable of intelligent discussion. You’re ignored.

That's when you admit defeat folks.

reply

Watch the breakup scene again because your interpretation is way off.

reply

No, he did not just assume Lorraine would take him back. When asked if her would go back to his wife, he replied, "If she'll take me." That showed a lot of humility in my opinion. She may very well be done with him.
