Does this movie excuse child molestation?

Or is it okay for an adult woman to seduce a teenage boy? Males can choose whether to "insert" or not. A female can't.

He's out of high school and about to start college. She's in her late twenties. It's kind of questionable, I guess, but I wouldn't call her a pedo for the relationship.

reply

Of course not. Pedophiles are attracted to prepubescent children, not teenagers.

I'm not sure if it does, or if it's supposed to be a commentary on what's been occuring on school campuses all over the country. That is schoolteachers having affairs with their students. A real big issue.

The only reason women become high school teachers is sex with hot teens!
Students graduate at about 18. Jay North was 25!

Which child? The student was 18 and the teacher 28. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Teacher_(1974_film)

It is one thing to depict a relationship between two adults, but quite another to depict one between a student (even if an adult) and an older authority figure like a teacher.

The producers, it seemed, avoided the issue of molestation by depicting the character as being 18 years old and using an actor who was 22 at the time.
