I saw this listed on the guide channel as Silent Night Holy Night

I've never before heard of this referred to by that alternate title. Anyone else?

It was filmed under the title 'Silent Night Evil Night'

Not your bad at all - they commonly switched between titles for regional re-releases and TV airings to draw in new audiences. It was called SNEN in some places as it was assumed Black Christmas might be mistaken for a Blaxploitation movie. I imagine it aired under a phonebook of alt. titles in the 70s to try and recoup its costs.

I just saw it listed in perhaps Roku streaming or Tubi TV as "Stranger in the House", a title I had never heard as an alternate title for it. When i played the film, though, it was the familiar credits with the title "Black Christmas". Wild horses couldn't drag me to see its current remake. I'll stick with Bob Clark's original. Margot Kidder is great in it and has the most stylized death scene.
