First female action lead role
Quentin Tarantino calls Pam Grier the first female action start because of this role. I suppose he is right, but can anyone think of an earlier film?

shareNot really.
shareWhat about Honor Blackman (The Avengers and Goldfinger) from the early Sixties?
shareThe Avengers was a tv-show, not a movie (unless I'm thinking of a completely different thing than you).
Goldfinger? You mean the James Bond movie? Dude, James is the star of those. And he's definately not a female.
Barbarella
What comes next in Project Mayhem only Tyler knows...
Believe it or not female action stars have been around at least since 1912. Mary Fuller, perhaps, being the first. Now, going around and shooting people, I think Pam Grier holds that title.
