Just read the trivia at IMDB about all the problems with making this film. Somehow it all worked out!

I read an article on TCM about what it took to get this movie completed and it is an interesting story to say the least.

It sure blew me away!

It's very strange but it seems to have been removed from IMDB. I looked up the article mentioned by pluckytotheend's and it details some of it:
