which is better?

The French Connection

They both feature Gene Hackman and both are great films in their own right. The Conversation is a thinking man's movie.

Tough one.

I identify more with Hackman's obsessive, cerebral character in Conversation.

But I like watching the smart hothead driven character of Popeye Doyle in French Connection more.

So I got to go with Connection.

Gotta go with the French Connection because it's more of my kinda movie: action packed cop thriller. The Conversation was neat, different, and suspenseful though. Crazy movie.

TFC, but not by much, imo.
