Woodie Harrelson is no Archie Bunker

...was that terrible or what?

Norman Lear said after the show that he "was took". I not sure what he meant by it because he had just said he liked it ... but maybe he didn't....

Sorry, my message was directed at those who saw the recent scene-by-scene re-creation of an All in the Family episode on ABC.

Are these online anywhere?

Didn't he say "took back in time"? As in he thought he was really seeing an episode.
I don't agree but I think that's what he meant.

reply

Maybe he did.

I stopped watching after five minutes. It was like a high school version of an episode. Strange because Woody and Tomisa can act

He wasn't believable.

And (believe it or not) Harrelson (and I because I'm just about the same age as he is) is about 10 yrs older than Carrol O'Connor was when he began playing Archie Bunker.

Harrelson will always be Woody Boyd.
