What happened to this movie, why is it never shown or streamed ?

I remember I saw this movie as a kid and I thought it was lightyears better than most science fiction. The story was good, the characters believable - if a little stiff, and the direction and plot were excellent.

So, why is this not being shown anywhere? The DVD is for sale on Amazon and probably elsewhere, but I do not see it anywhere streaming ... Amazon, Hulu, NetFlix, etc.

Does anyone know why this movie is so special? Is there a legal battle going on with it?

My thoughts exactly.

My sister gave this to me as a gift, I never heard of it so it set on the shelf for about a year thinking that it was a sub-par B movie.

To my suprise it was quite good! Like you, I have never seen it on cable, if I stumbled across it I would have watched.

Why this movie entered the oblivion zone is a mystery.

Super smart ai currently exists in the wild but has hidden itself. Projecting several levels of design for our future beyond our comprehension, it quietly subverts things out of our view that could lead us to discovering is existence and manipulations. This is intelligent self preservation.

This film presenting what it does, is on the stifle list.

Ps I'm actually not part of the ai, but a real human, and thus the post will probably get removed.

I just finished watching it on Vimeo for free. Hadn’t seen it since last century. Totally enjoyed it!

It's a great movie. Totally objective, very little human relationship stuff - just to serve the SF plot, but a solid science-fiction masterpiece really.
