And if Marsha really did listen to those records and watch the show, then that would be because that's what was on TV and on the radio at the time. Same as if she had watched any other television show or listen to any other popular songs of the day.

We assume the Bradys lived in the same world as us regular folks. So they would see The Monkees tv show just like everybody else. The universe The Monkees lived in on their own tv show was a different universe than the Bradys' universe. The OP's mistake is he's assuming that The Monkees on tv are in the same universe as The Bradys fictional family on tv. They're different universes.
