What are your favorite episodes?

I love all the Halloween episodes especially the one from season 4. I also love Visions of Sugar Plums from season 1 and Speak the Truth from season 2. :)

The ones I laugh at the most are the episodes where Endora messes with Darrin and tries to teach him a lesson with witchcraft. Some of those episodes are the one where she puts a vanity spell on Darrin, makes his ears grow when he tells a lie, makes him shrink to prove what a "small man" he can be, etc. Another one that I forgot about until recently was the ep where Darrin studies Italian to impress a client. Endora makes him fluent in Italian, but he completely forgets how to speak English!

I concur, PJ. Though it was an overused plot device, there's no denying the Endora-puts-a-spell-on-Darrin shows are
among the best. Formulaic, but fun.

I, too, love the season four Halloween show, even though it's sloppily done, corny (the goat..."Aaaaaannnnnt
Glaaaadddddyyyys..." Oh, boy), and a bit campy. But somehow its energy, pacing and cast carry it off.

I think "A Vision of Sugar Plums" is too bland and Donna Reed-ish.

My personal favorites: "Charlie Harper, Winner", and "It's Wishcraft."

Those are some of my favorites too! I also like the first season episode "A is for Aardvark". The episodes which show the love between Sam and Darrin are some of the best.

Another favorite of mine (the title escapes me for the moment) is the episode where Serena fills in for Samantha because the latter has to appear before the witches council. Darrin takes "Sam" on a second honeymoon. it was a rather risque' episode for that time period!

"It's So Nice to Have a Spouse Around the House."

Yeah, thanks. You'd think I'd remember that since I have the episode!

I also like "Double, Double, Toil and Trouble" when Endora puts Serena up to pretending to be Sam while Samantha is helping out at the church bazaar. I love the part when Darrin thinks the real Samantha is actually Serena and he hits her with the Boston cream pie that Sam brought home.

You can clearly see Elizabeth Montgomery is laughing and they had to dub her voice when she says, "I'll give you two seconds to explain this lunacy!!"

I haven't seen much of this series beyond the first two seasons, I tried watching season 3 and beyond but the show just doesn't work as well. There are many great episodes but the one I liked the most was George the Warlock, featuring a guest starring performance by Christopher George as George and the incredibly beautiful Beverly Adams as Danger O'Riley.

It's arguable, as season three is my personal favorite, and many tv critics cite season four as the best.

The show starts to slide in season five, York's last. But season six - Sargent's first - is an overall strong year.

The show really went South mid-season seven onwards.
