All-Time Favorite Episode

My debut post here! Hello, everyone!

While a few years ago, this would've been super tough, I'd have to say that my all-time
favorite ep of "Bewitched" is "Charlie Harper, Winner." Again, tough pick, but this
terrific offering from the great season three just defines - on every level - what this
show is about. So much happens in the span of 25 minutes - a simple dinner party, winds
up an entire weekend getaway. They could've made this a two-parter if they really wanted
to, but glad they didn't. Just a knockout ep, with terrific support from guest actors Angus
Duncan (who played Mary Richards' ex-fiancé on the debut of "Mary Tyler Moore") and
the lovely Joanna Moore (Tatum O'Neal's mom).

I like the one where Sam get's sent back to old Salem and Darren is accused as a witch. The end of the trial was too rushed.

HARPER is an extremely well written, well acted episode. It almost goes hand in hand with A IS FOR AARDVARK for emotional resonance.

Glad to see you GB!!!

Well it just wouldn't be right not to comment on YOUR debut post! LOL Just a quick aside, you probably didn't see my last comment to you over at IMDB, but I have NO problem with NOT talking politics! I never do when it comes to my favorite sitcoms. To me, they exist outside the world of petty politics.

Back to your question, your favorite episode is definitely one of mine. There are just several others that I would pick. It's SO hard to narrow it down to one favorite.

From the B&W episodes I would pick the birth of Tabitha and A is for Aardvark , although I never understood that title!

There seems to be a theme for me. Every favorite episode of mine has an underlying emotional aspect. For instance another favorite one is the episode when Endora gives them an anniversary gift and Darrin questions it. She makes him shrink, showing how "small" he can be. Later on he learns his lesson.

But yeah, Charlie Harper, Winner, is a top favorite.

As an AM fan, my favorite episode would have to feature Endora. My two favorites are "Disappearing Samantha" from season two and "Allergic to Macedonian Dodo Birds" from season four. Those are my two favorite seasons over-all, for how well-presented is AM's work.
