Exactly! Dogs that have speech but don't yet wear clothing and walk upright.
It's ironic that Goofy represents the most sophisticated level of dog evolution, yet seems to be a moron.
True. And the 1959=61 Felix the cAT show had a talking bulldog named Rock Bottom, but three epsiodes in 1960 had a dog like bloodhound, Felix dog Sniffer.
