No DVDs?

I thought for sure this series would be on DVD. . . I can't find it anywhere! So sad. I loved The Honeymooners.

The Honeymooners are definitely out on DVD. The Classic 39 were released last year on Blu-Ray, there is a whole box set of the Lost Episodes, a few of the Colored Honeymooners were released, and three of the 1970s specials (the ones with Audrey)are available online. Check Amazon.

Thank you! I'll check it out.

Nobody buys DVDs anymore anyway because of streaming

reply

Some of us do, although the ones I buy are used in order not to feed any money to Hollyweird (they wouldn't want my dirty tainted deplorable money I'm sure).

There are shows that I can guarantee you will be cancelled from streaming services and dropped from physical print for reasons having to do with "racist" and other "outdated thinking or stereotypes" in the future if they haven't already, and even those that aren't dropped entirely might be redacted.

Once you own the physical media, the federales will literally have to break down your door to get them.

Thats an excellent point

reply

Yeah! I own the DVDs of my favorite shows because I don't want to rely on streaming or having my favorites redacted.

Once I have the hard copies in my hand, they'll have to pry them away from me! I have only the first three seasons of Sanford and Son and I imagine that some of Fred's remarks would be cut out from streaming.

They would have to edit out EVERYTHING Aunt Esther says, seriously. Thankfully, her gems remain on youtube.

reply

Aunt Esther was great, you old heathen! lol

Hopefully, mechanical DVD players will be available for the foreseeable future!

If not, we'll have to transfer them to the next big digital virtual format, but don't keep them in the cloud if you know what I mean.
