It's no wonder some people are turned away from Christianity when you got extremists like that turning people away from it. I admit though I don't know who Hannah Gadsby is but this topic automatically made me think of this crazy extremist in that youtube video. I am a Christian and I don't have anything against people who like Harry Potter. I have a sister who is a Christian and she likes Harry Potter a lot.
That statement about how Harry Potter would've been killed in the Old Testament is stupid considering me and other Christians regularly break the Jewish law by eating pork. You know why? Because only Jesus could follow the Jewish law completely. If we are bound by the Jewish law under Jesus then we're all doomed to go to Hell as far as I am concerned.

i think the issue is more people are educated, extremists pushing them away or not, and see christianity makes no sense as show here in summation

noooo just religious people are the biggest hypocrites. you cherry pick the rules convenient to living the life you want, and ignore the ones that would cause undo hardship. while chastising others for not following your religious rules.also Jesus didnt follow the laws from before or even ones he set out. he broke multiple according to the bible.
