I’m not political, that stuff is all cheap baloney to me but all of my friends and coworkers in The Bronx have NO respect for him
For a Black man in power to not garner respect from black folks on the street speaks volumes
I like his law enforcement background, but he is not very appreciated in the city

I have no idea what a ‘young progressive’ is, I’m just saying that my mostly black and brown coworkers think the guy is an asshat and I’m not sure why…I respect his Cop background though

Criticism of Adams appears to be related to his politics. He's a moderate in a city where most people are either liberal or progressive so their viewpoints and goals will differ.
