Lighting A Candle For Frankie Shaw

Frankie Shaw is a South Boston girl who is a quirky and talented comic artist, and I want a post for her, dammit! She won a 2015 Sundance award for Best Short Form Feature, and she produces, writes, directs and stars in the Showtime series, SMILF. She’s not for everyone—because she’s not Wonder Bread, McDonald’s, football, beer, or caveman coitus. She may be for you. She is for me; and she’s achieved a lot.

What did she do that got her show cancelled?

Mishandling of sex scenes and separating writers by race?? What the..?

reply

Yeah. She's a real piece of work.

reply

Been meaning to see the show but I haven't gotten to it yet. This is basically my ultimate woman, beauty wise.

reply

She really needs this candle now that she shot herself in the foot and lost her TV series. I hope she learns from her mistake and rises up. The second season of SMILF was better than the first. Frankie has too much talent and potential
for us to be deprived of her gifts.

reply

never heard of her
