Joe Besser or Curly Joe DeRita?

Who do you like better? Me I like Joe Besser because he has a much stronger personality of the two, plus he wasn't bland like Curly Joe was.

Shemp was better than either.

I agree, to me Moe, Larry, Curly and Shemp are the real stooges.

I looked them up and the original three were all Orthodox Jews. Curious.

Shemp is my all time favorite.

DeRita. He was Moe’s choice to replace Shemp but the studio overrode him because Besser was already under contract

But Moe is my least favorite. Just a nasty human being.

That was an act. In real life he was an extremely kind human being. Took it upon himself to keep the other Stooges safe both on and off camera.

Sure. It was a character.

I'll admit I never liked The Three Stooges at all though.
