Edited to say: I'm normally not one who cares who gets divorced or who stays together but this particular couple always seemed so happy and so supportive of each other and then they got divorced! It was just weird!
I believe they got divorced because he retired and was supposed to spend more time with his family. I think she's the one that pushed him into retiring the first time. But he didn't want to retire that's why he went back. And that pissed her off. She wanted her and their family to be the center of his attention and he was not able to give up the other love of his life. I wouldn't doubt if he's been trying to get her back and she said if you want me back retire for good this time.
