I'm trying to imagine someone as small and fragile-looking as Emma Stone as Batgirl.

Okay, the small and fragile-looking Michelle Pfeiffer made a fantastic Catwoman, but she made it clear that bottomless depths of rage and insanity was what made her formidable. You can't do the same thing with Batgirl, who has to be at least somewhat sane.
