Youth activist Kyle Rittenhouse got an earful on social media after bragging about receiving "special ops" training, Newsweek reported on Wednesday.

Rittenhouse, now 21, became famous after he traveled from Illinois to Wisconsin in 2020 with a semiautomatic rifle to police the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin, during the protests over the shooting of Jacob Blake, during which he got into an altercation that led to him shooting three people, two fatally. A jury ultimately acquitted him of all charges, finding he had acted in lawful self-defense, and he has since posted prolifically for various right-wing causes on social media.

"Training with some special op guys today! Fun content coming soon!" he posted on X Tuesday, alongside three other people with rifles and tactical gear. He followed up with a picture of himself posing with his firearm and gear by a cooler, saying, "I was exhausted after training all day! More training this week!"

And one commenter, James Burke, was skeptical that Rittenhouse really did anything at all. "All your gear looks clean, shoes look impeccable and your pants still have a crease in them," he wrote. "What are you training on, how to style your hair?"

Special Ops? Ha!

reply

It didn't say "special ops training". Fun fact, a great many defensive training facilities are owned and operated by former special forces personnel. Just as easily could've been you or I in that pic. In addition to training civilians, they also train law enforcement. Haley Strategic is a good example. Or don't you think those guys should have jobs after they leave the service?

Another fun fact, Rittenhouse has already proven himself. Something you and all those asshats in the comments don't seem to want to accept.

reply

He implied it when he claimed, "Training with some special op guys today!" That is how wanna-bes brag about their exploits. Otherwise he would have said he was plinking with some dudes.

Do you really think those soldiers were training Rittenhouse? Probably not.

Rittenhouse was rejected by the military. He has nothing to brag about.

reply

No he didn't. Like I said, most of the good defensive training companies are run by former special forces guys. Just like the former sniper that runs a long range shooting school not 30mins from me.

Maybe you should figure out why that triggers you?

KR was tested in a high stress, life or death situation and he performed brilliantly. What about you?

reply

I have been tested in high stress conditions during casualties on broad the submarines I served on. I was also present during an altercation involving two people pointing firearms at each other. I was unarmed, but helped to stop the situation.

I have no illusions about my ability or lack thereof to respond to a threatening situation. I learn something new each time there is a problem.

reply

Then why denigrate KR? You accidentally take a sip of the Kool Aid?

reply

I did not go on to brag about training with elite soldiers just because I allegedly popped off a few rounds in their presence. I was not rejected for military service based upon my lack of intellect.

reply

If I went to that sort of facility and trained with that sort of folks, I probably would post pics from it. Who the fuck cares?

reply

Obviously you care or you wouldn't have posted your comment, retard. Rittenhouse is too stupid and fat too join the military and the military doesn't accept middle school dropouts anyway. You should pick your heroes more carefully because Rittenhouse is a loser.

reply

Stop projecting, we already know you're a yellow coward.

reply

I'm not projecting. Show me exactly what in my post is wrong. I'm guessing that you are a fat loser too because you worship Rittenhouse.

By the way... I am a US Army veteran and I fought in Desert Storm. That makes me far from being a coward. I wonder, when did you serve, tough guy?

reply

Now I see why you're triggered. KR has seen more action than you.

I don't give a shit what you claim to have done. Your character, or lack thereof, is on display for all to see.

reply

"Maybe you should figure out why that triggers you?"

Starting to think it is repressed homosexual urges which Kyle Rittenstud seem to trigger in him.
That makes him angry and rant about the dude all the time.

You would think submarine service prepared him for that but... not everyone can be saved, I guess.
