Lauren Boebert was escorted out of a Colorado theatre’s performance of Beetlejuice for vaping, singing, taking pictures and “causing a disturbance”, according to a report.

The right-wing congresswoman and a companion were asked to leave Denver’s Buell Theatre during the performance of the touring Broadway show on Sunday night, reported The Denver Post.

Drew Sexton, her campaign manager, told The Post that the congresswoman denied vaping but did use her phone to take pictures of the performance.

“I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice,’ ” Mr Sexton said in a statement.

He also noted that the newspaper’s own review of the show had described it as “zany,” “outrageous,” and a ‘lusty riot.”

What happened was other theater goers thought Boebert was Beetlejuice in the flesh and they were frightened.

No. She might wish it was that way.

The incident report states that after receiving the intermission warning, about five minutes into the second act security officials received “another complaint about the patrons being loud and at the time (they) were recording.” Taking pictures or recording is not permitted at shows.

The report quotes one of the ushers: “They told me they would not leave. I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.”

Is she just this stupid? Perhaps she thinks she is above the rules while on private property?

reply

I wonder if she said "do you know who I am" when they kicked her out.

reply

Its been confirmed in a couple of articles that yes, she did in fact say that when she was kicked out!

She's so trashy, it's hilarious. 36 year old grandma, preaches abstinence until marriage, son knocked up a high school girl.

Video of her vaping. Must have been really stoned, doesn't even remember vaping!

After being kicked out of a performance of a Beetlejuice musical in Downtown Denver last weekend for vaping, being on her phone and making a racket, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) made light of the incident, saying she was guilty only of “laughing and singing out loud” and, according to her campaign, any vapor present was due to what a representative told the Washington Post were “heavy fog machines and electronic cigarettes used during the show.” The rep explained that there might have been “a misunderstanding from someone sitting near her.”

> The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I’m truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community,” Boebert’s statement said. “While none of my actions or words as a private citizen that night were intended to be malicious or meant to cause harm, the reality is they did and I regret that.

> There’s no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family. I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday. That’s unacceptable and I’m sorry.

I went to see Avatar (2009) in an Imax theater. The theater was sold out and after the movie started some guy in a few rows below me pulled out a bullet pipe with cannibas and a lighter. He took a couple of hits from the pipe and continued to take more hits throughout the movie. Even though the bullet pipe reduces the smoke produced it could still be smelled. Plus his lighter was bright.

The funny thing is that no one complained. I personally don't care but there were kids in the theater so I figured some mom or dad would've said something.

I do live in Los Angeles and maybe that's why no one seemed to care one way or another if someone is smoking pot in a theater.

Vote for her or the homo guy that wants more crime in the state.

There you go again with the homosexuals. Your obsession with homosexuals is astounding. It's okay, you can come out of the closet. I'm sure no one will judge you.

Dylan and that Kapernick in a sports bar talking about makeup would be a good bud light super bowl ad.
