Not quite. I found him to be smug and unlikeable on The Office, but because he did smug and unlikeable so well, it was absolutely impossible to accept when Hollywood decided to try and turn him into an action hero. Him being a nerd was bad enough, but an action hero? Come off it.
shareWell the character of Jim could be smug at times but he also got doses of reality and was bested by Dwight on a number of occasions. But I don’t think I should have to defend the character to defend the actor since they’re two different people lol
I will say that I loved a Quiet Place and was really impressed with him as a director. Beyond that I saw him on Late Night with Seth Meyers last week and his glowing praise of the others involved with the film made John the person incredibly likable and I can’t wait to see what’s next from him!
No I find him as well Emily deserves better
