Hideous tattoo...

but hey!! She's edgy, right?

reply

tattoos are the modern day dunce hat. nothing says u lack self esteem and personality like getting a tattoo to fit in. unless ur a hardcore criminal or sailor having tattoos just shows the world u are a complete poser who follows the mainstream crowd and does whatever is in "style"

💯

DID YOU REMEMBER YOUR PILLS TODAY, GRANDPA?

reply

i am a 26 year old clean body tattoo free freethinker. ur the old boomer grandpa that wanted to look "cool" by injecting ink into ur body in a failing attempt to look "badass"

reply

I DON'T REMEMBER OFFERING YOU MY AGE OR NUMBER OF TATTOOS...THE ANSWERS MY DEAR ASSUMER...ARE 40 AND TWO...

reply

tattoos on girls are very very very very hot. so very hot. super hot.

i reckon, anyway. we're allowed to be different.

reply

No, they are not "hot." Far from it. I've seen many attractive women who've permanently ruined their appearances with the addition of sleazy tattoos.

reply

de gustibus non est disputandum, jonathan.

reply

This times a thousand.

A small heart tattoo on the ankle or maybe some small cross tattoo on the wrist? Sure, I can accept that.

But the tattoo sleeves, the large tats on the chest, or across the stomach, or on the neck and face? Ew. Just no. It's like ruining a fine sculpture by drawing on it with permanent crayons.

reply

I posted this below: "Your body is a brand-new expensive sports car. Getting tattoos is taking the keys and scuffing the paint job."

reply

Perfect analogy.

reply

a girl with tattoos isnt hot it is scary. once i had sex with a girl with this huge leg tattoo and when i saw it i was less attracted to her instantly. still boned her but was scared about getting an std after since tattoos are a huge indicator of poor mental health

reply

i'm different. that's allowed!

reply

fwiw, i also really like vaguely troubled, emotionally scarred women. they never like me, though. pity.

reply

What's up with all these sleazy tattoos? I've been seeing more of this within the last couple of years. Don't people realize that they are doing permanent damage to their skin? Just wait a few years when the colors have faded and their skin will be sagging. They will be a laughingstock.

Your body is a brand-new expensive sports car. Getting tattoos is taking the keys and scuffing the paint job.

reply

WHO EXACTLY HAS EVER BEEN A "LAUGHINGSTOCK" BECAUSE THEY HAD TATTOOS?...THE ANSWER...NOBODY.

reply

Give it time.

reply

LMAO...MY GRANDFATHER DIED IN 1994...HE HAD ALMOST COMPLETE SLEEVES...THE TIME HAS COME AND GONE...PEOPLE SEEM TO ENJOY TATTOOS AND THEY AREN'T GOING AWAY.

reply

That's because people are trend following sheep.

reply

"...THEY AREN'T GOING AWAY."

That's the problem. A tattoo is a permanent marring of the skin. Yes, they can be surgically removed, but this leaves scar tissue. The skin is never the same. Do people ever stop and think about the consequences before spending big money to destroy their bodies?

reply

THEY ARE ONLY CONSEQUENCES IF YOU DON'T WANT TATTOOS...THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THEM WANTED THEM...SO NO CONSEQUENCES.🤔

reply

Your grandpa was a ho mo with low self esteem just like you

reply

AREN'T YOU A CHARMER.🙄

My God, so many wowsers on this forum. What ever happened to live and let live? Here the motto seems to be ‘live like I think you should live or I’ll get up on my little soapbox and shed some salty tears about it’

Many people find tattoos pleasing to the eye, and even sexy on certain individuals. Really though, who cares what other people do to their bodies? Isn’t it more important to be a decent person who doesn’t, say, go on the internet just to make nasty observations about the life choices of others? I know I’d prefer to have a beer with a friendly tattooed person than a mean-spirited, judgemental ass hat.

reply

hear, hear!

reply

Tattoos are neither pleasing to the eye nor "sexy." They are trashy and sleazy. They serve no purpose.

"... who cares what other people do to their bodies?" you ask. When I go to the local sandwich shop and see the counter workers with tattoos all over their arms and necks, I find it offensive. Do I really want to consume food handled by these people? I will take my business elsewhere, which I have done.

Yes, people have the right to make choices about their lives. But with this "right" comes the responsibility to make the correct decisions. This isn't being "mean-spirited," it's using common sense, and thinking about the consequences before senselessly spending a lot of money to destroy ones body.

"Why do people get tattoos?" I've asked this very question on this forum and many others, and have never received a satisfactory answer.

reply

Other than on sailors and marines who have been in combat, tattoos are trashy and stupid looking.

reply

I'll add rockstars, wrestlers, bikers and fighters to that mix (in moderation of course). The right kind of tattoos definitely make them look badass, but only to the effect of adding to the appeal of their character. It's not for everybody, though, and even then it can still come off looking sleazy and trashy.

I always thought Goldberg's tribal tattoo on his upper arm looked good. It was modest and striking. I always thought The Rock's full-upper body tattoo looked stupid and disgusting.

reply

"Looking badass" is something to aspire to? Seriously? I thought we were living in the 21st Century, but it appears our society is regressing rather than moving forward.

reply

Not really. But you have to admit that in certain professions (like MMA or boxing or wrestling), a large part of the appeal for some of them is in their look. A guy who comes off playing a villain looks more villainous with certain tattoos. A guy who is supposed to be a no-nonsense fighter looks more intimidating with certain tattoos (like Brock Lesnar, for example).

They certainly don't work on the average person, and those aforementioned professions are only really designated for certain kinds of people. And even then, not everyone in those professions can get away with just any kind of tattoos, as some of them just end up looking really ridiculous, like I think Conor McGregor's tattoos are too much and are distracting and hideous, along with Mike Tyson's face tattoo. It just looks stupid. Another is Cody Rhodes' American eagle tattoo on his neck... it's grade-A retarded.

Another good example is 2005 Batista looked intimidating with the Filipino tattoo on his arm and the Yakuza dragon tattoo on his back, like here:

But then he went overboard and now looks absolutely ridiculous:

I can't take things like WWE seriously.
