Republican Candace Owens scrambles to clarify her admiration of Hitler

FOX News conservative contributor Candace Owens has been scrambling the past few days, after a video surfaced of her defending nationalism at a conservative political event in December, and giving a pass to Hitler's actions.

Said FOX's rising political voice, "If Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, okay fine." Now Owens is attacking the 'left wing media' for nothing more than quoting her verbatim.

On Friday, Owens tried to clarify her comments and make the whole ordeal go away by saying, Hitler was "a homicidal, psychotic maniac" and there is "no excuse or defense ever for ... everything that he did."

Yeah, right.

Exactly! That's all she meant to say (she didn't approve of him going worldwide, because then his 'nationalism' became 'globalism' of course).

And how dare the liberal media quote her verbatim and even link to the video taken of her speaking at the forum? Just what are they trying to prove with real, unaltered news?

Speaking as a white male progressive, I am sure I have the authority and personal experience to lecture people like Candace Owens and Kanye West about racism...

After all, it's not like they've ever encountered it, right?

I wouldn't. I was being ironic. As a white man, it is not my place to lecture black people on racism. I wish other privileged white men, like, say, Chris 'Captain blond blue-eyed America' Evans, had the racial-awareness to check their white male privilege and do the same.

Unfortunately, as I keep noticing, most white liberals are overprivileged hypocrites, and, if the socialist revolution ever happens, these pampered plutocrats will be the first with their backs against the walls.

I can't stand her. She is politically empty. She was a "liberal" who created a doxxing website. But the people who started pouring money into it were conservatives. Then she starts cozying to the right and someone from infowars convinces her to "red pill" to gain easy fame because the right-wing absolutely LOVES a black woman that spews pro-Trump talking points. It wasn't long before FOX conservatives saw her and immediately began drooling.

I don't think its been an easy ride for her on FOX though. Candace is still stuck in infowars mode whereas Tomi Lahren is more of an establishment darling. Candace wants to sneak into that role but as much as I dislike Lahren she's got enough in her bean brain to outwit Candace any day of the week. Its only a matter of time before Candace puts her infowars foot so deep in her mouth that it cannot be removed and Tomi is just sitting back waiting for the opportunity to strike.

Candace Owens is an "Entrepreneur" who is using the model on the Right that makes money off of the Left. It is not clever but it will make you rich. The only other person that I know of who has made a killing off of the Right is:

Stephen Colbert by mocking and parodying the Right.

Candace Owens is no Stephen Colbert and forgive me for even mentioning the two within close proximity.

The Right learned long ago that you can spew, distort, make-up, lie about all things Left and you can make a fortune. You don't have to be smart, clever, or knowledgeable just attack the Left and you will make a living. Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, RW Radio Stations, YouTube channels, podcasts, Larry Elder, Stacy Dash, Kanye West, Diamond and Silk (my eyes and fingers hurt just seeing me type their names)

True, true. Especially when it comes to the alt-right. They are the ones to buy up any conspiracy theory you throw at them. Infowars figured that out years ago. Its also part of the playbook to act in a religious way that typically involves demons and the occult. Infowars figured that out as well. The alt-right loves seeing the black woman and the gay man talking about how wonderful Trump is so much that they will buy your snake oil pills. You can even get them to believe in a flat earth enough to give you a decent income on the side.

As much as I detest everything Candace Owens believes, do you genuinely think a black American woman with a college education truly supports Hitler (and yes, she may be an idiot, but she is still at least part-educated in a society in which far too many African-Americans are marginalised by the public education system)?

This white patriarchal attitude needs to stop. Rich upper-middle-class white libs need to stop behaving as if poor and/or black people who disagree with them are inherently stupid. It comes across as potentially classist and racist.

If she is in a public forum defending Hitler, and what he did (but she didn't like the fact that he went from nationalist to globalist) then there's no reason for me to doubt her word. Why should I or anyone else?

I have emphasized the fact that she is a rising star at FOX ( a network which thrives on fear-mongering), and that she's a republican / conservative mouthpiece.

Whether she's Black, White, Spanish, Asian, Native American does not matter - it's her political voice, and what she believes in today, which has caught my interest.

Whether she has a GED, high school diploma, Undergraduate degree, graduate degree, doctrine - does not matter. Again it’s her political voice and what she believes in today, as far as I’m concerned.

Doggie, this is NOT the first time that a black person has gotten into trouble evoking Hitler and Nationalism:

Well, that's a good name. Hitler was a very great man. He wasn't great for me as a black person, but he was a great German, and he rose Germany up from the ashes of her defeat by the united force of Europe and America after the first world war.

"Now, I'm not proud of Hitler's evils against the Jewish people. But that's a matter of record. He rose Germany up from nothing. Well, in a sense you could say there's a similarity in that we're rising our people up from nothing. But don't compare me with your wicked killers."

Was Louis Farrakhan extolling the virtues of Nationalism back in I think 1984? It's hard to say but he was making a point and a comparison that should have never been made but is still just an intellectual debate point nonetheless. Owens is an low-brow trying to inspire a cause that at no time would have been beneficial to her as a person of color. Yes, Louis Farrakhan is branded as an Anti-Semite and there are those who want him imprisoned for his words alone.

She is an entrepreneur for that side only until they come for her.

P.S., I am not a supporter of Louis Farrakhan or the Nation of Islam but I do support Free Speech and not Hate Speech.

Or maybe I just understand that POC, particularly women, have it much harder than whites, particularly men, and we should take that into account when we condemn them.

I'm not defending Owen's politics. She's a fool. But I find it hard to believe that even a moderately educated black woman would sincerely think that Hitler was good for people like her.

Tomi Lahren is a blonde, blue-eyed braindead Barbie. She is nothing more than an Aryan poster-girl. I have ZERO respect for her privileged white ass.

Whilst I detest Candace Owens' politics, the fact is, she is a black woman who has somehow made a name for herself in the inherently racist world of right-wing media. For that alone, she clearly has a tad more brain cells than any number of blonde Republican Barbies.
