I dont doubt she was abused but she does also make up a lot of shit. So it is hard to tell if she was abused in Hollywood or "my bet" abused by a family member before she went to Hollywood.

Her transition could be a way of expressing her resentment to being female. She just doesn't like being a woman, so to get out of it, she transitions into a man. This way, no one will ever want to have sex with her, at least, no one on the opposite end of the spectrum will want to.
