Sad news that Linda Manz has passed away at the young age of 58.

She was superb in Days of Heaven - her narration is among the most haunting and beautiful use of the technique in any movie.

Other notable roles included The Wanderers and Gummo.

Really sad news. I loved her in Days of Heaven as well, and her Pee Wee role in The Wanderers. They'd never cast a young girl in that capacity in today's movie culture.

Same here. She was also considered "ugly" by a lot of my female classmates who thought she was gross in The Wanderers and Days of Heaven. I loved her rough edges yet innocent aura.
