Out of curiosity I tuned in to Rush's AM channel here in L.A.. You'd be surprised to know that even in "liberal mecca" Los Angeles virtually 95% of AM Talk Radio is filled pundits who share the same views as Rush Limbaugh. His death only gives an open window of air time to other Ditto-like heads who are mining for ratings.

Before that the top show was Bruce Williams who doled out excellent financial and personal advice, and Art Bell who went from being a general topics late night call in show to being the godfather of conspiracy theory wackadoos. In the beginning Rush was fun because he spoke a lot of truths but unfortunately he also slipped in a lot of lies and motivated listeners with anger. I was also young and naive, not yet exposed to corporate America, which would enslave their own grandmothers for a one time bump in stock price. I hadn't yet met with local Republicans leaders who spoke openly about ways to imprison more blacks, take away women's rights, and told racists jokes loud and boisterously.
shareIn the end it's all about how greedy one is to forsake the welfare of even their own family members. It's not really a Left vs Right thing either. You can label yourself of either side and still be as lecherous and evil as anyone who's willing to be that way. When I was younger I always was impartial to both points of view but noticed how the conservative side slipped more and more into Rightwing/Fascist dogma than the liberals did slipping into Leftist/Marxism. In fact, most liberals are just as fiscally conservative and practitioners of corporate capitalism as any card carrying member of the Republican party. The New Right (AltRight) like to label anyone not on their side Marxist/Communists and they prop up junior congresswomen like AOC and Omar as standard bearers of their opposition while at the same time sit complicit while Trump raises their taxes via Trade Tariffs and talks about nationalizing certain industries to protect agriculture and even technology. When I examine Trump's economic and social policies it's impossible not to label it National Socialism
shareIt is my belief the conservative movement which started post WWII was began by US fascist remnants. Fascism was gaining in popularity prior to the war but once the Holocaust became public they had to rebrand.
