Didn't see Star Wars

I understand that people are still annoyed at his Star Wars movie. I didn't care to see any of the Disney Star Wars movies so that never tarnished my impression of him
I've seen Looper and Knives out. Looper was the better of the two but it wasn't that great. There were some cool ideas and great makeup. The hover motorcycles kind of annoyed me. Knives Out has a great set with a predictable story. The actors were fine but it's not a movie I'd watch again.

I don't agree with the angry at Roundhead Johnson perspectives. I just think he's a mediocre director. Are Star Wars fans giving him too much attention? I think so. Irony of me posting is noted.

I'm still a firm believer that George Lucas himself ruined Star Wars with the prequels and that's a hill I'm willing to die on. The Last Jedi certainly isn't the best Star Wars movie by a long shot, but it's definitely not the worst.

Like you, the only other Rian Johnson films I've seen have been Looper and Knives Out and I'm personally a huge fan of both. Chances are people that don't like The Last Jedi have quite a bit of potential to enjoy his other work.

It was George Lucas's vision, dumbass. God knows what Kennedy intended.

His vision was to ruin Star Wars? Just because it was the creator's vision, doesn't mean it isn't garbage.

You're calling George Lucas garbage for all six of his movies? Wow, talk about unappreciative fans. With that attitude, no wonder he sold his life's work to Disney so they could fuck it up further.

If you actually read my comment, you'd see I didn't call Lucas garbage. His Star Wars prequels are what's garbage.

The original trilogy is one of the best trilogies of all time. Which is what makes the prequels so much worse because Lucas has shown he can do better, but he really dropped the ball.

I agree with everything here, except that his is the worst Star Wars movie. And I really like Rogue One.

You can watch Rogue One without having to see any of the other Disney era Star Wars films. Personally recommend it.
