But Frawley actually had one adamant condition of his own. He had it written into his contract that he could get out of filming if the Yankees played the World Series at home so he could attend the games. Apparently he exercised this condition twice.

She hated him for something as stupid as him being old enough to be her father when he was cast as her husband when they filmed “I Love Lucy” which was a stupid reason to hate the man who never did anything to her but that’s us human beings. No rhyme or reason to anything that we do. She went too far though, too far, it was said when he died she told Lucy & Desi something that I forget off hand but she toasted his death & wanted them to join in. She was a monster.
Oh on the baseball front, the owner of the Angels then, gave him a lifetime pass sometime in the 60’s.
