Let's put it this way: Unfortunately, probably many hipsters like him. So, it's almost a reason not to like him because of the many hipsters who like him. Well, I like him despite many hipsters liking him (and I freaking don't like hipsters... who would've thought).

Hipsters are personae, not real. Dressing like every other hipster while suggesting they're unique is empty.

I just love his very literate and funny scripts and how he makes his universes seem like candy - you want to be in it and it's so entralling that youwant to "eat it". Does that make me a hipster ?

Most likely. Fans of Wes Anderson movies probably listen to swing music like Squirrel Nut Zippers and Cherry Poppin Daddies, while only drinking the most obscure brewed once IPA they can find. The pretension is off the charts.
