No, I still was a Star Wars fan even after hearing Bicycle Race.

I never liked Queen. Too weird.
Freddie Mercury and the band were talented, but their talent did not appeal to me.

I didn't like them much back in the seventies, I thought they sounded very artificial and hearing "Bicycle Race" played 10 bazillion times on your local Top 40 station doesn't improve it. But now I've become a late-in-life fan and realized there's a lot more to them, and I've also found out that Mercury actually liked Star Wars. He even had a guy in a Vader suit appear at concerts.

I didn't say I hated them, just that I would not buy their music, and didn't care for their image.

No, but you said "your loss" like I never heard of them or somehow missed that they had some talent. That assumption is done probably a trillion times a day on social media, and it's BS, that's why I exaggerated a bit.

It was a good life lesson for me. Just because someone is brilliant at one thing, music, doesn't mean they appreciate greatness in others. Like filmmaking greatness.
