Should She Be Fired?

After delivering 4 out 5 Billion dollar films?

Yes/No

reply

There's no argument for firing her because she's successful on paper. As far as knowing the heart of the fans and the lore she's severely lacking. Best thing she can do is move on. I would like to know how much credit she deserves for the Mandalorian but my guess would be it's 95% Favreau and his people.

Star Wars movies should have been $3 billion and up movies. Only barely breaking $1B is a joke. Star Wars fans are crazy faithful and would see a good movie 10 times and up. They only saw these crap fests a few times or once. The ones that saw it a few times, wanted to see if it was really true that they watched Star Wars become crap. Disney really dropped the ball on Star Wars.
I fucking hate the fact they are gonna do Indiana Jones and Die Hard coming up.

Why would they make 3 billion? Star Wars has never been big in many countries. After 40 years you expect it to become popular everywhere?

reply

Yes. The movies made a fraction of what they should have made and the franchise IP has been badly damaged. She was a competent project manager-type producer but an utter failure at running a studio. Peter Principle in action.
