Thoughts on his live Netflix special?

I watched the Chris Rock live Netflix comedy special, "Selective Outrage" tonight. I thought he was pretty funny, for the most part. Not all of the jokes landed, but there were quite a few laughs. I would rate it an 8/10.

Just watched it, he is allright in this one, nothing amazing, funny but a bit predictable.

It started off kind of weak, but I was giving it a chance, till the multimillionaire started telling me how as a white male I was running the govenrment and thus we couldn't be victims of anything.

He can go fuck himself and cry himself to sleep on his bed of money.

VICTIM^

His word, not mine, sort of tied into our supposed complaints of "losing the country" or the 1/6 riot.

Like the few hundred people that got out of hand on 1/6 define the entire group of white men in the country.

If the shoe doesn't fit you don't have to wear it! Clearly you don't think he was talking about you but he sure was talking about those involved on 01/06.

reply

No, he was talking about white males, as a group. I am part of that group.

Where you at the Capital on 01/06? No!

Chris Rock wasn't talking about you.

If you were at the Capital on 01/06 then turn yourself in Insurrectionist! Or are you a Seditionist?

reply

He clearly and specifically used the term "white males", to discuss "white males". His use of 1/6 was done to describe the behavor or thinking of "white males".

He made a joke about the idea that "white males" could be "victims" because we "run the government".

You don't know me, but I assure you, that I do NOT run the government. In case you wondered.

reply

Pure GARBAGE!
