The TV personality, who announced his talk show was ending earlier this year, was asked whether or not he regretted how he conducted the episode, in which the Shining actress revealed that she was suffering from mental illness.

"I don't regret what I did," he said in an interview with journalist Chris Wallace on Friday's episode of CNN's Who's Talking to Chris Wallace. "I regret that it was promoted in a way that people thought was unbecoming."

Dr. Phil is a fucking asshole.

The weirdest thing is that she's missing a front tooth.

She's a heavy smoker.

That doesn't explain the missing tooth and why someone with her money wouldn't get it replaced. I mean, how did it even happen?

reply

Smoking isn't great for your teeth especially if you have receding gums. She only has 4 acting credits since 2000, so I guess she doesn't have the money to pay to fix them.

reply

I smoke and I have all my teeth. Lol. I'm guessing mental illness affected not only her hygiene, but she may have squandered all her money. When you look up net worths of actors, they're all in the millions. According to Google Duvall still has money. Perhaps it's all on paper and in real estate and she has no access to cash. Sad story.

smoking does not gurantee that you will lose your teeth but its sure increases the chances of you losing them. that and also alcohol because they both dry your mouth and the worst thing for your teeth and gums is dry mouth because it kills all the good bacteria that your mouth needs. im 32 and up to few years ago i never even brushed my teeths, but i dont drink alcohol or smoke and my teeths are in perfect shape. the dentist even told me i have some of the healtiest teeths he saw, and to this day i only brush once in a couple of days.

the maority of people i know with teeths problems including my father are heavy smokers.
