Anyone remember him from before LOTR?

I was a kid in the 90s, so I actually saw him in two movies prior to the LOTR trilogy. I remember him in the movie "Flipper," which was a 90s updated version of the old 60s show (with Paul Hogan playing Crocodile Dundee in Florida, hehehe).

He also was in "Deep Impact," and was the boyfriend of this teen girl, and they were part of a subplot in the film. I remember how they got married early before the comet hit, and they had to run with the girl's baby brother over the hills to escape the giant tidal wave.

yes, I saw hundred of his movies before - the good son where he was a child.
And the facutly, sin city and many more.
He would also be famous without LOTR.

Here's a little trivia that surprised me. Remember the two bratty kids that talked to Marty in the arcade when he went to the future in BTTF 2? One of them was a very young Elijah Wood!

Yeah, I do remember that! And that movie was better than LOTR lol.

He plays a major role in one of my favorite movies, 1990's Avalon.

Yep. He was my teen crush in the 90s. Flipper was the first movie I saw him in. I also remember him in Huck Finn, The Faculty, and Deep Impact. I didn't see the Good Son until after LotR (I was too young and it was all Rated R and stuff, lol). Radio Flyer was another good one. We're the same age so I felt I grew up with his movies as they came out.

I need to rewatch Radio Flyer. I watched it all the time when I was a kid but that's definitely not a movie for a kid. Haven't seen it as an adult.

I loved Elijah wood movies. Great child actor.

North, The Faculty, fucking Radio Flyer, The Good Son, the Huck Finn movie...
