Bill's been gone 4 months today....

It's been 4 months since Bill's passing. It's still very sad for me. I'm commemorating the day by sharing another one of his movies. This one's called Trial by Jury (1994). In it, Bill plays a supporting role of a corrupt ex-cop who still has some semblance of a conscience. It's not the best movie, but it has a great cast and Bill elevates anything he's in. Kathleen Quinlan as a hoochie mob hitwoman is not very believable. But it's worth checking out anyway.

Valerie Alston (Joanne Whalley-Kilmer) is placed on the jury for the criminal case of mob boss Rusty Pirone (Armand Assante), and it's not long before she is threatened by Pirone's right-hand man, Tom Vesey (William Hurt). Though it is clear to the 11 other members of the jury that Pirone is guilty, Valerie must convince them to find him innocent. If she doesn't, her son will be killed. Valerie is only following Vesey's orders out of fear, but her conscience begins to haunt her.

Cast:
Joanne Whalley - Valerie Alston
Armand Assante - Rusty Pirone
Gabriel Byrne - Daniel Graham
William Hurt - Tommy Vesey
Kathleen Quinlan - Wanda
William R. Moses - Paul Baker

Yeah, I know where you're coming from.
A decade (or so) ago...an actor like William Hurt passing would/might have made national news?
Sadly (nowadays) it's merely (at best) a bi-line (twixt) between more important headlines (like what the Kardashians *aren't* wearing)
Nowadays, we have to just accept the passing of superior (older) actors, to encompass the new (media accepted and politically correct 'junta') ...regardless if they can act or (even) emote at all...lest we be deemed 'waysist'

Nailed it.

Thanks.
Although (trust me) I wish I were wrong

Have there been any unforeseen complications with your transition?
